In the scratch test above the surface of Opti-Rite® MSA and a competitor were scratched heavily with steel wool. Our surface was able to withstand the scratches, maintain a glossy surface and keep it’s erase-ability at a high level of ease.
Alcohol Removal
Normal dry erase markers can be erased easily within one month. If the ink is left on for longer to the point where the ink is stuck on the surface, whiteboard cleaner or isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth can be used to wash the ink off.
We used a sharpie to test it’s ease of removal with alcohol from our product compared to a competitor. As shown, the permanent ink is wiped completely clean with no ghosting or staining.
Cut-ability
With a selection ranging in thickness, all Opti-Rite® material is meant to be cut easily with scissors, an X-Acto knife or a utility blade.
